The Californian trombone player and arranger Dan Barrett is one of the big jazz trombone stylists of recent decades. He has played with the orchestras of Benny Goodman, Woody Herman and Buck Clayton, and has accompanied the concerts and/or recordings of first-rate performers including Rosemary Clooney, Mel Tormé and Tony Bennett. He has also participated in the soundtracks of famous films including Cotton Club by Francis Ford Coppola, and Bullets over Broadway, Mighty Aphrodite and Everyone Says I Love You, all three by Woody Allen. A group of remarkable musicians of different nationalities will accompany Barrett in a concert certain to delight classic jazz aficionados.
