Joshua Redman (sax), Ron Miles (trumpet), Scott Colley (double bass), Dave King (drums)
Joshua Redman is one of the most charismatic sax players to have come out of the 90s. He is coming to present Still Dreaming, which we are fully justified in saying has been one of the most impeccable jazz albums of those released in 2018. The inspiration for Still Dreaming came to Joshua Redman from the band Old and New Dreams, fronted by his father, Dewey Redman, between 1976 and 1987. A legendary band of disciples of Ornette Coleman, also featuring Don Cherry, Charlie Haden and Ed Blackwell. This is a very different project to the one brought by Joshua Redman on his last visit to the Heineken Jazzaldia in 2015, when he came with The Bad Plus and together they left a good taste in the mouth. Joshua Redman is accompanied in the undertaking by an exceptional line-up: Ron Miles on the trumpet, Scott Colley on the double bass, and Dave King on drums.
